Cream of Potato soup recipe

Like potatos? I guess then you will like cream of potato soup too.
For this hot ration you will need a little more than 30 minutes of your time, and don't worry, you won't need any cooking skills, because it is all explained in few easy steps below.
The recipe is written for 4 persons.

Ingredients for cream potato soup

  • 500 g potatos
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 liter of water
  • vegetable OR beef soup cube
  • a clove of garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • few spoons of sugar cream OR sour cream


Cooking and preparation of the cream potato soup

  1. Peel and slice the potatos into small cubes, then peel and slice the garlic.
  2. Pour the water into the pot, put in some salt, vegetable or beef soup cube and wait until the water boils.
  3. When it boils, put into the sliced potato cubes and garlic, then cook for about 30 minutes, until the tomatos aren't cooked.
  4. When the ingredients are cooked, take another pot and melt the butter, then displace potatos and garlic into the pot with butter, BUT do not throw away the soup you cooked in potatos and garlic.
  5. Crush the potatos and garlic (you can also do it with hand mixer), then pour in the soup you cooked in the potatos and garlic (depends on how much thin soup you want to make), and also add some pepper and salt.

Sweet cream of potato soup

If you want to make it a little bit sweet put, into few spoons of sugar cream

Sour cream of potato soup

If you want to make sour cream potato soup, put into few spoons of sour cream. This is my favorite ingredient in the soup!


Finishing the potato soup

After adding the cream, cook and mix the soup for about 2 minuters, until the cream isn't mixed with the soup.
